About the shipyard

The Russian shipyard Aviator was founded in early 2022, in Samara, where its production facilities are located. The name "Aviator" is explained by the fact that the shipyard was established under the auspices of a design bureau that had been involved in aviation and space technology for many years. Thus, even before the official opening of the shipyard, it already had a strong team of specialists in design.

A highly qualified engineering department deals with hydrodynamics for precise preliminary calculations of the vessel's characteristics, while in-house laboratories test new technologies and investigate the properties of composites and other materials. In addition, full-scale models are tested on the water.
Aviator specializes in motor yachts made of aluminum with catamaran type hulls, as well as monohull yachts made of composite materials. When designing the models, the starting point is the possible ways and conditions of their operation. According to the shipyard director Evgeny Selivanov, a yacht should correspond to three scenarios of use.

-Evening outings on the water - not far but fast, for example, to the nearest beach.

 -Weekend vacations - with the ability to accommodate on board a large company, necessary things, go 50-70 km and return.

 -And finally, big trips, for which the yacht should have a good level of autonomy, a large water reserve, plenty of space for things, food and equipment, as well as enough space on board for everyone to find a comfortable place.  

Based on these ideas, the size range of Aviator yachts - from 10 to 30 meters - and the hull type were determined. These are transitional mode hydroplaning vessels, when the yacht goes well and consumes fuel efficiently in a wide range of speeds. Aviator models are able to travel 600-800 km without refueling at a low speed of 20-25 km/h and accelerate to 60 km/h if necessary.

The Aviator concept is to offer customers boats fully ready for operation, therefore Aviator models have the widest possible basic equipment.
